Institute TOMS took part in the international scientific symposium Miner’s Week 2025 held by MISIS University, February 3–7. The specialists of Mining audit and consulting department delivered a report on advanced approaches to create geometallurgical block models and assess process variability of ores.
In December 2024, Institute TOMS jointly with specialists of Tufekcioglu company and Sever Minerals JSC successfully carried out trials of a new advanced lab-scale flotation cell with computer-aided process control – TK LabFroth by Tufekcioglu.
TOMS specialists have visited the construction site of the copper plant MOF-3 of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (Uzbekistan). The construction has been implemented within an investment project “Development of Yoshlik I deposit”. The deposit is rich in such valuable metals as gold, copper, silver, and molybdenum

A new up-to-date laser particle size analyzer Malvern Mastersizer was installed and put into operation in Institute TOMS.
In June 2020, a new up-to-date laser particle size analyzer Malvern Mastersizer was installed and put into operation in Institute TOMS.
The market-leading Mastersizer particle size analyzer is a versatile instrument that aligns with the analytical requirements, resource constraints and demanding workflows of today’s laboratories. An innovative approach to particles analysis makes it possible to deliver accurate measurements of powders and suspensions within the size range from 0.01 µm to 2200 µm.
The data acquisition rate of 10 kHz increases reproducibility of measurements and provides high accuracy of PSD results even for samples with very wide particle size distribution.
The data resulted from the Mastersizer analysis meets USP, EP, and ISO standards.
